The conspicuously sophisticated architecture of Curzon Hall is one to behold at the University of Dhaka which has a long history behind it. Orginally meant to be a town hall, the edifice was named after Lord Curzon, Viceroy of India, who laid its foundation in 1904. The academic activities of Dhaka College was operated here till 1920. After the establishment of Dhaka University in 1921, it has become a part of the university’s science section, which has been continuing to this day
